Staff Spotlight: Jack Chen, Senior Vice President of Engineering
At EPC Energy, we’re proud to have Jack Chen leading our engineering organization. With more than two decades of experience in battery energy storage systems (BESS), Jack brings a rare blend of deep technical knowledge and industry shaping leadership.
Jack has held senior roles across the energy storage ecosystem: from guiding product strategy at a Tier 1 global battery manufacturer to leading engineering and commercialization efforts for utilityscale and behindthemeter storage solutions. His background also includes extensive work in power electronics, microgrid integration, and hybrid vehicle electrification, giving him a uniquely comprehensive understanding of how advanced energy systems come together.
