C and I Battery Energy Storage Systems

E90 Series – 5′ Outdoor Energy Storage System

Our most compact solution, occupying a 7′ x 5′ x 8′ footprint, is the easiest of our C and I battery energy storage systems to install and is well-suited for grid-tied or off-grid projects. These fully integrated, outdoor-rated systems are perfect for applications such as small commercial operations, remote or rural installations, and renewable energy storage. Their compact size and versatility make them ideal for environments where space is limited and reliability is crucial.

Key Features

High Capacity, Small System

This series has a rated capacity of 80kWh up to 260 kWh and a charge/discharge rate of 30kW up to 90 kW, making it perfect for installations in smaller spaces, such as urban areas or space restricted locations.

Multi-Application

Perfect for renewable energy storage, small commercial operations, and remote installations. Typical uses include time of use load shifting, demand charge mitigation, self-consumption, resiliency or the core of a microgrid.

Compact and Easy to Install

This system’s compact size ensures ease of shipping and installation. As a plug-and-play solution, it offers seamless integration, reducing installation time and complexity.

Reliable and Durable

This system has a 90% round-trip efficiency with a rated cycle life of over 6,000 cycles. The cabinet is rated at IP54/NEMA 3R, ensuring significant protection from dust ingress and water exposure (rain, snow, ice). With it’s integrated HVAC units, these systems operate effectively in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 45°C (-4°F to 113°F).

E500 Series, 20′ Containerized Energy Storage Systems

The E500 Series lineup of 20’ outdoor-rated battery systems are designed for medium to large-scale commercial and industrial projects requiring high energy and power capabilities. These robust systems feature an integrated fire suppression system, ensuring safety and reliability. These versatile containers provide a reliable and efficient energy storage solution for diverse applications.

Key Features

High Capacity, High Flexibility

Our 20′ x 8′ x 9.5′ systems can have a capacity of 572kWh up to 2288kWh and a maximum charge/discharge rate of 250kW-550kW. This flexibility provides a wide variety of options for our customers, tailored to meet their specific needs.

Commercial and Industrial Applications

As a larger system, it is ideal for commercial and industrial usage, such as backup power, peak shaving, renewable energy storage, grid stabilization, and microgrid support.

Highly Integrated, Quick Installation

The E500 Series systems are designed for quick installation and high integration, minimizing setup time and reducing complexity. This ensures a seamless deployment process and faster operational readiness.

Reliable and Durable

This system has an 89% round-trip efficiency and a rated cycle life of over 6,000 cycles. Built from modified ISO cargo containers, these units are weatherproof and suitable for oversea shipping. They can accommodate up to 2 Bard outdoor HVAC units, ensuring reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F).

Our Company

We are a team of experienced renewable energy engineers.

As the industry leader in renewable energy, EPC Energy is innovative to provide reliable turnkey energy storage solutions.

EPC Energy is a diversified energy storage contractor and provides complete engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services from commercial and industrial to utility-scale storage projects.

We build both stand-alone energy storage systems and PV-plus energy storage systems. We also provide added value to our clients by offering integrated projects, like an energy storage solution within a PV energy project. We can build out both or add energy storage to existing PV projects.

EPC Energy also provides integrated energy storage solutions for microgrid projects that tap into the power of storage, PV and wind generation assets.
